a case of the creeping stickies

That sounds pretty awful, doesn’t it? lol ;)

Well, I have the racing stripes (on the kitchen counter), the spoiler (riding around town in the trunk), and the XM radio (in it’s box next to my chair in the family room) – all waiting to be installed with some steady-handed help from my dad and two different sets of professionals respectively. But something that has come for my car that I could manage to install myself are my bumper stickers.

I have tried to limit them, so as not to “crap-up” my car with 20,000 slogans, but I just couldn’t resist putting on a few. For the record – the big round one in the middle of my trunk is my Obama magnet – not to say that I’m not committed to my candidate or anything, but I do always get a giggle when I see people driving around with a Dukakis sticker or something (I mean, come on scrape it off with a razor blade already). I also find myself trying to run cars with old BUSH/CHENEY stickers off the road (oops, did I just type that out loud? lol). Anyway, the point is, I feel that ephemeral items are best as magnets.

I, for one, will not be voting for Obama. I'm decidedly pro-monarchy at this point. Long live the Queen! :-)

Where'd you get the Obama magnet? I want one.

I don't run Bush cars off the road. Instead, I leave them a lovely note thanking them for $4.00/gallon gas.

K - LOL ... ah, but then you get things like Prince Charles (all that inbreeding = Dumbo-ear-itis).

MtnLrl - I LOVE the letter idea, lol ;) I got the magnet online @ http://store.barackobama.com (exact link to item is: http://store.barackobama.com/product_p/mg29086.htm )
